Halloween Crafts!
I often find that it can kind of be difficult to find crafts age appropriate enough for an 18 month old. Last week I went on a mission to find some fun crafts to do with my 18 month old daughter, to do for Halloween. I found a number of ideas but nothing was really age appropriate enough for her. Here are a few ideas that I did find that she LOVED!
First we painted some small pumpkins that we picked up at our local pumpkin patch. I went out a got a set of washable paints -$2.99, some extra paint brushes-$0.99. I made her a paint smock out of an old shirt of mine and the fun began. She enjoyed it so much and was so surprised that I actually let her make a mess.
The other craft that we tried were the hand ghosts. All you do is trace your child's hand on a piece of white, construction paper, cut it out and draw a face on it. My daughter loved it and we around the house carrying them and saying BOO.
